Which variant for your horse?

  • Crossover — my main variant. If you are unsure, take the Crossover.
  • Chin — if your horse gets too little feedback from the Crossover or the Sidepull.
  • Sidepull — for horses that already go safely and finely.

A detailed explanation of the three buckling options follows further down.

Roségold Edition

The Harmonybridle with rose gold fittings. It turns heads.

Feminine, modern, an elegant accent — it works with black and dark brown and looks especially good on light horses. Your choice of rose gold leather or with rose gold patent leather on the noseband for the extra shine.

The three buckling options in detail

The CR Harmonybridle can be buckled in three ways. Which one you choose depends on what your horse already knows and how finely it responds.

Crossover “crossed over”

The rein straps cross under the jawbones. The moment you take up contact, the pressure spreads evenly over the poll, the nose and the jaw branches. Unlike many classic Crossover bridles, the Harmonybridle does not tighten while it does that, so flexion and bend stay clearly rideable.

My main variant and in most cases the most balanced choice. If you are unsure: take the Crossover.

Chin variant “under the chin”

One strap runs straight under the chin from one ring to the other, with no cross. The moment you take up contact, the chin strap is drawn in a little. The bridle closes slightly as it does so, which gives somewhat more direct feedback than the Crossover.

Useful for horses that get too little feedback from the Crossover or the Sidepull, or that lean against the rein.

Sidepull “to the side”

The reins are buckled directly onto the sides of the noseband. Nothing crosses, nothing closes. The pressure acts almost entirely on the nose, which makes the Sidepull the most open of the three variants.

For horses that already go safely and finely. Sidepull is not “the finer” variant, it is the most open one — ask yourself honestly beforehand whether your horse stays clean without a clearly defined limit.

Returns, fit and shipping

  • 14 days right of withdrawal — unworn goods come back without any fuss. To the withdrawal form and to the right of withdrawal.
  • Doesn't fit? We'll exchange it. Horses' heads are different, it happens. Write to me and we will find the right size.
  • Better to measure first than exchange laterguide to measuring the head. If you are unsure, send me a photo of your horse's head.
  • Shipping within Germany — sizes in stock usually go out within 1–2 working days. Details under Shipping.
  • Do you live in the EU outside Germany? Unfortunately I can no longer deliver there directly. The reason: packaging licences, EPR registration and VAT filings apply separately in every single country — that is no longer manageable for a one-woman business. The way that still works: have your order delivered to an address in Germany (a friend, a relative, someone from your yard). As a private individual she can then forward the parcel on to you without any problem. Explained in full here.
  • Outside the EU — Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the UK, Norway, the USA, Canada, Australia and many other countries I still ship to directly.
  • Handmade. Every part is cut and assembled individually. I packed it myself.
  • Advice before you buy — write to me at crharmonyequestrian@gmail.com, reply usually within 24 hours.
